AVM Wool Peep Holes...
We’ve been busily working through our AVM Wool orders & have tweaked the way we fabricate the Peep Holes to help with finishing - Peep Holes in Coir are cut out prior to the external wrap & then finished with fibres to create a funnel effect around the cut out but we can’t replicate this technique with AVM Wool.
Instead we position the Peep Hole after the wrap equally between ribs using a metal washer & then cut out the hole - we finish the hole by cleaning up the wool strands then apply twist pile fibres around the inside of the hole.
A plus point to this way of doing things is that we are not restricted to positioning Peep Holes +/- 80º from their normal position at the back of the unit - AVM Wool units can now have Peep Holes in any vertical or horizontal position on the unit.
