COM Freestanding Fatcats

As shown on Instagram we’ve just fabricated two bespoke Freestanding Fatcat pieces finished in a Customers Own Material - Camille from London, UK wanted an un-dyed/untreated natural wool carpet so after researching the market she selected a finish from the Galloway range manufactured by Brockway & matched this against an off white coloured twist pile carpet range called Serenity Imperial that we have previously procured from Classis Carpets.

The Brockway carpet made up well, in particular around access holes because of a more closed weave but needs more finishing work than our AVM Wool as there’s not an open rib that we can easily cut between when forming the wrapped ends & back seam - we also had to adjust our standard internal setting out to accommodate the thicker twist pile carpet internals.
