Polecat RSJ Beam Install...

We’ve recently completed a Polecat for a customer here at the Alaska Buildings that has a special install - it’s been fabricated with a painted MDF End Cap assembly that locates into a custom made bracket so that it can be clamped onto an RSJ beam.

The aluminium bracket was designed to locate onto a 6-7mm thick RSJ beam & uses an M8 connector that screws into an insert on the End Cap - it’s not the first time that we’ve fabricate a unit with this type of End Cap, as opposed to Wrapped Ends, & the screw in connector that’s used to locate the Polecat into the bracket was actually the standard way of installing our units into a ceiling, with the addition of a rubber cap, for the first 10 years or so of our production.
