With the addition of a floor plate we've created a completely free-standing version of our Fatcat - it’s available in heights up to 1830mm tall & is usually specified as a 4 Compartment unit with Climb-Through options & has a Recessed Platform feature on top of the unit

Bespoke Specification
Hicat® units are hand made to your bespoke specification - having a read through our Buying Guide is a good move as it contains lots of helpful advice & tips on specifying your Hicat®.
In addition to the standard 1830mm tall Fatcat we have also now made a bespoke 2230mm Freestanding Fatcat & also have a stock Fatcat sized unit called SixToo™ that’s made to a standard specification.
Configuration
Compartments are shown in their recommended configuration based on unit type but these can customised in position at a minimum of 300mm centres from the top or bottom of the unit & centred at a minimum of 400mm apart.
To create this freestanding unit we had to develop an internal mounting collar that is concealed in the bottom of the Hicat® & this construction gives the unit the strength to turn it in to a free-standing structure when secured to its 720mm diameter base.
Fatcat 1, 2 & 3 versions of this unit can also be fabricated along with a Tomcat version but Polecat units don't have a big enough footprint to allow us to make it in a freestanding option.
Features & Options
Compartments can be specified as a Climb-Through Compartment, which has a opening in the bottom to allow your cat to climb from one Compartment to the other.
Peep Holes can be added to Compartments - these are small spy holes that are positioned opposite the Access Hole opening at the back of the unit.
Accessories
Our throw & fetch Hicatch toy is made from a Velcro® band & comes with 10 sticky foam darts - the Velcro® band wraps around the unit so can be easily moved to different positions.
Fat Pad cushions can be placed in Compartments & Recessed Platform Top to give a softer bed for your cats to sit & sleep on - they can also be placed over the shelves in Climb-Through Compartments to create a larger lounging & sleeping area.

Installation
Installation is very straight forward but Freestanding Fatcat units can weigh up to 40kg so you may need another pair of hands to help you install your Hicat®.

As well as the features & options above you can also customise your Hicat® even further with bespoke features, finishes & unit options or even come up with your own one-of-a-kind Hicat®.
We fulfil orders within 2-4 weeks but if you're happy to wait longer for your Hicat® you can place an Advanced Order & receive a 5% discount (excluding delivery) - Advanced Orders are planned for production up to 8 weeks from payment so expect to receive your Hicat® within 10 weeks.
If you’re using just Gift Cards to save up for a made-to-order Hicat® over 4 months or longer we will apply a 10% discount to your upcoming purchase to make the big day even bigger when it finally comes around.
Placing Your Order
Hicat® products are available to order using the form below & include delivery to the UK mainland for units less than 2400mm in length - delivery supplements for non-UK mainland orders will be calculated as part of your order form confirmation or you can request a Delivery Quote before placing your order.
After placing your order you will receive a confirmation email with a diagram & specification of your bespoke unit but please get in touch if you need help or advice before ordering.
