Fatcat units can be fixed to a wall rather than ceiling by using a Wall Fixing Kit - they are normally specified at 2220mm in height & have a Recessed Platform feature on top of the unit

Bespoke Specification
Hicat® units are hand made to your bespoke specification - having a read through our Buying Guide is a good move as it contains lots of helpful advice & tips on specifying your Hicat®.
Configuration
Compartments are shown in their recommended configuration based on a 2220mm high unit type but these can be customised in position at a minimum of 300mm centres from the top or bottom of the unit & centred at a minimum of 400mm apart.
The Wall Fixing Kit allows Fatcat units to be installed 180mm from the wall - this is to give your cat some room to climb & play around the back of the unit but this standard spacing measurement can be modified to between 60-200mm when placing your order.
The Wall Fixing Mount comes in either a white or black painted finish.
Features & Options
Compartments can be specified as a Climb-Through Compartment, which has a opening in the bottom to allow your cat to climb from one Compartment to the other.
Peep Holes can be added to Compartments - these are small spy holes that are positioned opposite the Access Hole opening at the back of the unit.
Accessories
Our throw & fetch Hicatch toy is made from a Velcro® band & comes with 10 sticky foam darts - the Velcro® band wraps around the unit so can be easily moved to different positions.
Fat Pad cushions can be placed in Compartments & Recessed Platform Top to give a softer bed for your cats to sit & sleep on - they can also be placed over the shelves in Climb-Through Compartments to create a larger lounging & sleeping area.

Installation
We generally recommend leaving a minimum gap of 300-400mm depending on the size of your cat between the unit & your ceiling so your cat can sit upright while seated on top of the unit - units can also be rotated & installed with the Access Holes facing in any direction.
Installation is very straight forward & units come with all of the necessary fixings so all you will need to install your Hicat® is a step ladder, screwdriver, tape measure, pencil & a drill.
Wall Mounted Fatcat units can weigh up to 40kg so you will need another pair of hands to help you install your Hicat®.

We fulfil orders within 2-4 weeks but if you're happy to wait longer for your Hicat® you can place an Advanced Order & receive a 5% discount (excluding delivery) - Advanced Orders are planned for production up to 8 weeks from payment so expect to receive your Hicat® within 10 weeks.
If you’re using just Gift Cards to save up for a made-to-order Hicat® over 4 months or longer we will apply a 10% discount to your upcoming purchase to make the big day even bigger when it finally comes around.
Placing Your Order
Hicat® products are available to order using the form below & include delivery to the UK mainland for units less than 2400mm in length - delivery supplements for non-UK mainland orders will be calculated as part of your order form confirmation or you can request a Delivery Quote before placing your order.
After placing your order you will receive a confirmation email with a diagram & specification of your bespoke unit but please get in touch if you need help or advice before ordering.
