Soggy & Miffed…

Our Stunned & Sad status has been downgraded to Soggy & Miffed as the flood damage to the studio is not as bad as we first feared - we’ve made good progress clearing up this week & won’t be replacing the floor at the moment as the flooding was clean rain water, not dirty waste & the floor hasn’t lifted but all of our benching needs to be replaced.

We’ve had an industrial dehumidifier working overtime so it looks like redecoration won’t be necessary either & all being well we think we will be up & running again week commencing 9 August after our new benching arrives - in terms of carpet stock, we are happy to say that the wrapped AVM wool has survived but an unwrapped roll along with our last roll of Peat Coir plus most of the bespoke fabric cuts will end up in the bin if the dehumidifier can’t work its magic.

Sadly, there were a few customer orders that were being worked on that didn’t make it thought the flood so will need to be remade along with some display pieces - the good news is that this month’s stock item did survive so will be available as planned.

Finally, a very very very big thank you to all of you that sent emails of support - they added lots of spirited sponge power to our clean up efforts & we even found time to give Henry’s whiskers a much needed face lift.
