In 2016 we were upset to see a photo of one of our cats Rudy sitting in his Tomcat being displayed on Cat Tree UK’s Facebook profile page - at the time the photo in question was being used as our home page image & we contacted the owner of Cat Tree UK & asked for the photo on their website to be deleted as it had been used without our consent.

The image was subsequently removed but 9 years on we are sad to say we need to contact the owners a second time as they have used our imagery again & alarmingly, done so knowing that they have never sold our products, made a request to use our images or have our permission - those familiar with our products will recognise a Bleach Tomcat with Peep Hole in the background on their FB profile page & another cropped Tomcat image on their home page.

We only sell direct so any Hicat products that are spotted on retail or third party websites won’t be our products & again we would like to make it very clear that Cat Tree UK have never sold our products or been affiliated to us - they have simply taken & used our photos to promote & sell their products.

We will ask Cat Tree UK for an explanation & will update everyone on the response - in the meantime if you have seen our product photos being misused elsewhere we would appreciate it if you get in touch.
