DHL rates to Europe have reduced over the last year as noted in our Shipping Smiles blog but we are also getting some much better pricing for our worldwide deliveries as well - DHL started to provide Price Spot Checks for our intercontinental deliveries & some of these quotes have been excellent.
One example is a delivery to Dubai that was quoted at over £800 on the DHL online portal but came down to £460 after a Price Spot Check - we have to request these tailored quotes from our DHL account manager so there is a delay in confirming any improvement to the price from the online portal shipping price that is used when the order is confirmed back to the customer.
