Loved To Bits #3...

Another couple of 6 year old Hicat® units that have received their fair share of love - Sid & Chams have done a bit of a number on these floor-to-ceiling Polecat & Tomcat units but we’ve still managed to give them a new lease of life.

After going through various options with Stephanie & Richard it was decided that the Polecat would have a basic patch applied to the worn areas in a contrasting Peat Coir but the Tomcat 4 would be best adapted into a Wall Mounted Tomcat 3 - the badly worn section at the base was cut away & by turning things upside down then forming a new Recessed Top at the cut end & patching in with Peat Coir the unit could be used as a Wall Mounted unit.

The units were previously installed away from each together but will be coming together when reinstalled to give Sid & Chams some new playing, sleeping & perching options - we hope the new layout & introduction of the open perch is lots of fun along with the upgrade to Twist Pile Shelf sleeping arrangements.
