Polecat Mini Disc Update...

We’ve now fabricated a couple of these “no hole” install options for our Floor-To-Ceiling Polecat & the units have been in use for weeks without any stability issues - we’ve also been continuously testing a Mini Disc Polecat install at the studio & this has passed with flying colours.

There has been some valuable feedback on the install itself, which we are thinking on, & we do need to tweak our draft install instructions slightly as the nano gel tape can be tricky to handle as it does catch easily - we also need to have a think on the ceiling adjustment measurement as this type of install doesn’t have any tolerance built into it, which makes the install a precise affair with no real room for error.

Our Press Up Polecat & Tensioning End Cap Polecat worked but are not as reliable or easy to install as the Mini Disc version so it looks like the latest offering will make both of these install options obsolete - as noted previously this type of install option is the last resort for those customers who are unable to drill into their ceiling, for example people in rented accommodation, so we would always recommend the standard single hole mechanical install for Floor-To-Ceiling Polecat units where possible.
