EU Delivery Delays...

It’s not all smiles here as a few of our EU customers are experiencing some horrendous delays with their orders due to Brexit related problems - some customers have had to wait weeks for their Hicat® orders to be delivered plus we’re getting reports that although import charges have been waived under the new EU trade agreement the VAT that is due seems to be higher than expected because of miscellaneous processing charges that are being applied by some courier companies.

We are working with our shipping agents to see if there is anything we can do to smooth out these issues but as you can see below “Brexit” is being blamed for the the situation & carriers have said that they will not be able to offer any compensation to customers for not meeting their scheduled delivery - we know this as we’ve asked.

We can only apologise for this situation & say thank you again for the patience & understanding shown by customers impacted by this service failure - hopefully things will improve sooner rather than later & we’ve refunded the customer on the receiving the end of a very, very, very, long delay below, the full cost of the shipping on her order given the that we, not UPS, think this is totally unacceptable & yes, the tracking info below is for real.
