Our New Coir Has Arrived...

Our long awaited imported coir arrived today but we had a bit of a shock when we unwrapped the rolls - the light grey coir that we were expecting hasn’t arrived but a soft green coloured coir has, along with a slightly lighter shade of the dark brown, sadly not what was ordered or shared on our Blog page prior to its arrival when we posted photos sent from the company manufacturing the coir in India 

We’ve asked the company in India to correct their mistake but realistically it will be months before we get things sorted based on our last order & given the disruption that COVID-19 has caused. 

This has been a let down for customers who placed advanced orders specified in these new finishes - these customers have been given the option of a full refund, wait for the correct stock to arrive or change finishes & apart from one customer who is deliberating his colour choice, the others have selected an alternative colours so we would like to say a big thank you to them all for their understanding.

Import duties & custom charges have been settled so we are going to put this one down to fate & make the best of this situation, which means we would like to introduce everyone to two new Hicat® finishes called Tatami & Peat Coir - Tatami will be offered as a standard finish & Peat Coir will a bespoke option.
