Tomcat 3 Needs A Home...

Amy from Aylesbury has been in touch to offer up her Tomcat 3 for rehoming - this is one of the very first Hicat®pieces that we made for Amy’s cat Cypher in 2008 & as you can see from the photo below it has been well loved by her over the years but not quite ready for the skip.

It’s finished in Natural Coir & fabricated for a 2230mm ceiling height but it could be wall mounted or even adapted to a shorter Wall Mounted unit like one of our Loved To Bits pieces by cutting out the worn section, flipping it & forming a Recessed Top.

The external wear on the lower section of the unit is thread bare in places (down to the core) & whilst repatching isn’t really an option, because of the Access Hole positioning, the loose strands could be reworked & glued to reduce bare patches - the coir internals are in good condition & we can supply Twist Pile inserts to line the Shelves to soften things up.

Please get in touch if you would like to be considered for this rehome noting that the unit will need to be collected from the customer's home in Aylesbury - we will be happy to help where we can in providing longer feet & connectors if required to get the Hicat® up & running under a slightly taller ceiling or there’s the option of wall mounting the unit.
