Maff from Northampton, UK, has just completed a repair on his floor-to-ceiling Polecat for his cat Milo - we sent Maff a cut of Natural Coir to patch in across a worn out 600mm high section & he’s done a really neat DIY patch up.

We’ve previously shown some extreme examples of how our units stand up to wear & tear including a 13 year old Tomcat unit that looks almost new & at the opposite end of the scratching spectrum a five year old Tomcat that’s in bits - Maff’s Polecat is somewhere in the middle but he’s now invested in a scratch post to help take some of the scratching attention away from the Polecat as recommended in our Buying Guide to help prolong the life of your Hicat®.
