Pricing Update 2026
Our last pricing update was in 2024 but there’s another one around the corner because of delivery & material cost increases - the biggest changes relate to additional UK shipping costs imposed on us because of the TNT takeover by FedEx noting that international DHL shipping rates are not affected.
TNT were used for most of our UK deliveries & were very competitive for larger deliveries offering a next day service for units up to 3.6m long - by way of example a 2.4m Fatcat cost around £80 to deliver with TNT but now costs double that with FedEx.
We are currently looking at alternative options & did ask Fedex to check their rates but they haven’t provided an explanation on the price hike other than saying that these are the new FedEx rates - similar to our Payment In Kind arrangements for UK orders paid by bank transfers we will look at passing on shipping savings for local London deliveries where applicable.
Material cost for MDF & laminated tubes also went up earlier this year but we were able to absorb these increases but a further jump in prices means that we will need to revise pricing - we will hopefully have our Price List updated in early January & will update everyone on the increases in due course.
