Pricing Update...

It’s been a while since we’ve had a pricing update but recent changes in supply costs have meant that some products will be increasing in price - our Cat’s Cradle, both Soft & Hard Seat versions, have been hit along with some other MDF material costs & machining.

The stainless steel frame for our Cat’s Cradle has increased in price by a whopping 50%, which has added £12 to the supply cost of the frame - we’ve added this net cost to the price of the product without a margin.

The MDF CNC machining for Scraaatch™ has increased slightly so this has added a couple of pounds across some pieces in the range - the superior sisal rope that’s used on Scraaatch™ has also increased but we’ve been able to limit any impact on the product cost through purchasing arrangements.

Postage has been adjusted slightly to cover increased Royal Mail pricing & International shipping also tweaked to reflect pricing adjustments to SixToo™, which actually reduced as we’ve found a third party agent that can beat our DHL account pricing - shipping is still very much a moving target with international orders but we have managed to negotiate a much better non-express service rate for Europe with DHL so if you have received a delivery supplement quote in the past for a European shipment, which you thought was too high, it’s definitely worth asking us to quote again as the price will be substantially less using the economy service.
