Retro Polecat Back Fixed Install...

Our Wall Mounted Polecats are fabricated with an internal collar that the Wall Fixing Kit connects into but we’ve come up with a way to fix a Floor-To-Ceiling unit to the wall using a similar style Wall Mount but without the need for an internal collar - previously the only way to do this was to use a Top Cap Wall Fixing but we have now designed a Back Fixed option as well that secures the Polecat using a discrete tensioning cable, threaded through a modified wall mount, & which will be almost unseen when slid between the weave on AVM Wool units.

We’ve already made a pair of mounts for Kerstin, a customer based in Cologne, Germany, who was struggling with a Floor-To-Ceiling Polecat install on an oiled hard floor so got in touch to see if we could help - the kits have been installed & Kerstin has reported that they look great noting that you can’t see the wires at all.

We will be adding this Retro Polecat Wall Fixing Kit to the Accessories page in the online shop noting that it can be fabricated to an offset between 8-22cm like the standard Wall Mounted Polecat & will be available in a standard painted White or Black finish - it will be priced at £48, slightly more than the Wall Fixing Kits, because of the additional hardware & fixings.
