Rudy & Leroy RIP...

As part of our 10 year anniversary we wanted to commemorate a special thought for our cats Rudy & Leroy.

Rudy, a Bengal boy was the inspiration for Hicat® after we started looking for a climber that would be big & strong enough for him to climb but failed to find anything that was up to the job - we started making our own prototypes for him in 2001 but it was actually Leroy, his half brother who became the first ever cat to climb one of our units.

In 2010 we received a visit at the workshop from an Abyssinian called Alfie who came along to demo our products - it was a matter of weeks after meeting Alfie that Rudy & Leroy had two new play mates to share their Hicat with called Tuco & Bello & the gang of four became inseparable.

Rudy & Leroy both reached the ripe old age of 16 years & their ashes are safely resting in their own miniature Hicat® at home - Bello joined Rudy & Leroy in December 2021 then Tuco in December 2023.
