CatConcluded...

We're back from CatCon where we had wonderful time meeting lots of like minded cat loving people.

We arrived early on Friday to set up our stand & apart from our Scraaatch™ pieces going walkies (courtesy of UPS) we were really proud of the stand & the fact that we managed to finally get to the LA show - the customer cats gallery boards looked sensational & got nearly as much attention as our climbers so thanks very much to all those customers & cats who have contributed to our Thumbs Up section over the years.

Once we were underway it was full on apart from a brief visit to see the adorable ones at the The Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA re-homing enclosure at the show - we had a change of plan during the show & actually decided to donate a couple of our Hicat® units to this organisation so hope to have a photo or two of the units covered in kittens after they're installed in the re-homing centre.

The downside to the show was hearing stories from people running re-homing centres & campaigners trying to stop declawing in he US - it is becoming outlawed but very slowly & we were given a bunch of DVDs by The Paw Project to hand out so wanted to spread the word as painful as it is to try & help stop this cruel & distructive practice.

To finish the event off nicely we had an email from one of our CatCon sample customers reporting that it took all of 20 seconds for their cat to summit their Tomcat 4 - see photo above from Mary & Tom.
