Shipping Woes Update...
The service provision issues that we were experiencing last Christmas with couriers seem to have been resolved but pricing is still on the up - as well as general increases across all of the couriers services the removal of economy services from resellers is hiking the delivery supplement costs to our customers, particularly to those based in North America.
Most of our international shipments are booked through resellers as these agents typically undercut our own TNT & UPS account pricing given they operate on better rates because of high volume contracts - the recent rise in international courier pricing prompted us to open a DHL account & we are pleased to confirm that there are some pricing savings that we’ve been able to pass on.
For example a SixToo™ piece shipped to the USA was around £558.95 to ship but the new DHL rates mean we can now ship for £478.95 - we’ve updated the website shop to include these savings but still need to fine tune a few shipping pricing anomalies across the UK, EU & Worldwide rates.
