Fat Pad Replacement Update
As shown on Instagram we’ve come up with a new formula for a brand new Fat Pad replacement whilst we were away on our break - we really like our Flip Fat Pad design but after purchasing lots of different types of foam, cut to various diameters to try out, we were left a little bit underwhelmed with the results in terms of comfort plus frustrated with the time & cost it was taking to make up a these Fat Pad options.
As noted in the Dressing Up Fat Pads Revisited blog we’ve used fabrics on their own as bedding so think that we can take the smiley cat stakes to a new level with a bag design that’s packed with hollow fibre stuffing, the same stuff that you would use to to make soft toys or pillows, & wrap this in different fabric cover designs, plus there’s the perk of getting to use our Hicat® labels that have been sitting in limbo for a couple of years.
We’ve ordered some stuffing supplies & will make up some samples for testing as soon as we are back from our winter break.
