Pricing Increase 2026

We’ve spent some time working on our 2026 pricing while we were on our break & after lots of consideration we think that we are at a point where we need to become VAT registered - we are below the UK threshold for VAT registration but sales are increasing so we planning to become registered as of 01 April 2026, meaning that there will be a significant increase to pricing across the board.

This won’t mean a clear 20% price increase as we will factor in the VAT that we will be able to claim back on purchases but it will still be a big jump up, probably around 11-13% once we factor in delivery & supply increases against different product types - we know this is unexpected & a bit of kick in the teeth for those planning to buy a Hicat® but as noted we don’t have any option if we expect our UK sales to hit £90K per annum.

We have previously been VAT registered, not because we were over the VAT threshold, but because of advice we were given by the UK Department Of Trade & Industry - this enabled the VAT portion on international orders to be offset against shipping cost, which helped even things out worldwide & is even more relevant now post Brexit.
