Press Up Polecat R&D...

We’ve had a few request asking if we’ve ever made a Floor-To-Ceiling Polecat that can be installed without a mechanical fixing into the ceiling so we’ve put on our thinking caps - there are customers that would love to have a Polecat that can be moved around their home & we do supply a couple of grommets for customers to help with relocating options for their units but there are others who need a install solution that doesn’t require them to drill in to the ceiling, normally those in rented accommodation, so are looking at a solution designed around an oversized ceiling spreader plate that tensions the Polecat into an upright position.

We’ve already fabricated a beefed up end cap collar that has an adjustable stem built into it & this will tension the 400mm spreader plate up to the ceiling so that no holes need to be drilled - the spreader plate will have felt protectors to stop the ceiling getting marked & we plan on fabricating a Polecat to test the design in our studio display area next month so will keep everyone updated on progress.
