Shipping Woes x6 Finale

We seem to be back on track now with deliveries but wanted to do a closing blog to our last Shipping Woes x6 Update - after things calmed we had a think about what’s gone on & have made some adjustments.

The issues with UPS seem to be with the bigger units that we send with the smaller ones getting to our customers without issues - we recently sent a couple of Cat Cabana shipments to the United States using the UPS economy service & these have arrived safely without any additional charges so think that we will continue to use use UPS for the smaller items that we send internationally as the pricing is very competetive.

TNT/FedEx are still our preferred UK courier & DHL for larger international items - UPS seemed to be set up better both logistically & price wise for the smaller international items so as long as we don’t get hit with ghost charges we will keep using them for these deliveries.

Parcel Compare still feel the need to email us on a weekly basis to tell us that they are still carrying out an investigation with UPS despite us being reimbursed by the bank for their first service failure - this has been going on for two months now & unbelievably soon after we received the our refund Parcel Compare took another £430 payment for delivering the unit back to us.

We asked them to make a refund but they didn’t so again we raised a dispute with our bank but this time cancelled our card as well so that Parcel Compare are unable to take any more payments - we’ve now received both disputed payments back so hopefully this is the end to our Shipping Woes nightmare.
