Website Update...
After our website migration to the latest version of Squarespace we’ve tweaked a few things to make things smoother running & compliant - these include updates to available finishes, improvements to checkout & video pages along with some admin revisions.
Our Thumbs Up page has been updated with embedded customer videos rather than links to Instagram - this looks a lot neater & we don’t have any issues now with video previews not loading on the page.
MDF/Twist Pile Inserts - as noted in our C&C Feedback last year last year we are now going to apply a small charge for MDF/Twist Pile inserts, which are used to turn Climb-Through & Worm Hole Shelves into Full Shelves, namely £3 each for Tomcat sized pieces & £4 for Fatcat so have updated the Shop Accessories page to include these.
NB we will continue to include these FOC for orders paid by bank transfer as noted in our Customer Notes section.
UK, EU & Worldwide Delivery options at checkout have now been consolidated so you don’t see a default UK Delivery service - these form labels were causing confusion with some customers as they didn’t realise that the delivery option changes when the applicable delivery country is selected from the pull down so assumed that we only offered UK delivery noting that Jersey & Guernsey have been added as separate European shipping destinations as they attract similar shipping rates as EU countries.
Product pages have been updated to show current AVM stock levels - we are down to our last few cuts of AVM Smoke Wool Twist for Catapilla™ & a couple of AVM Tar Wool pieces sized for a Tomcat & another for a FS Fatcat or SixToo™.
Climb-Through End Caps - we’ve just completed a Catapilla™ unit that has a centred Climb-Through feature between the Body & Nest End Caps so have updated our Bespoke Features page to include this along with a note on the Bespoke Units page reference Fatcat Two Piece Units that can have the same feature.
Diagrams on or Tomcat & Fatcat pages have been tweaked ever so slightly - we had 337mm & 434mm down as the units diameters but have rounded things up to 340mm & 440mm now.
Our business footer has also been updated with our registered address as our Alaska Buildings address - it was previously our accountants address but a change in Companies House policy has meant that we needed to make this change.
