AVM Wool Story Board
Whilst pondering over our AVM Wool Update selection we came across a sample board of the carpet finishes that we were sent when we made our first AVM Wool order - the carpet was originally produced under the name Ares by Himalaya Carpets & marketed in the UK by Crucial Trading as their Tibet Range, which we used as our supplier.
The carpet was discontinued in 2012 so we bought up all available remnants at the time & then spent the next 9 years trying to track down the manufacturer without success - in 2021 we came across the supplier by pure accident & made our first order renaming the carpet to AVM Wool as we were the sole retailer worldwide to stock this carpet.
Seeing the range of colours again has brought back the excitement & relief we felt finding our most luxurious & best loved finish but has also caused a bit of a wobble on our colour selection for new stock as we are now thinking about whether we should give one of the colours below a whirl, namely 1544 on the sample board, which was previously named Tibet Porcupine by Crucial Trading but we will call AVM Lava if we decide to stock it.
