It’s a bank holiday this Monday here in the UK so we’ve made our cats an extra large Thingy to keep them entertained over the long weekend.

This month’s stock item is a Tibet Wool Fatcat 2 available in two install options.

Bill, a Hicat customer based in Edinburgh used the natural off cut that was up for grabs to create a very impressive looking scratching stool to compliment his Fatcat & Polecat.

Surprisingly, we’ve not had any good causes wanting to take our cat wheel for a spin so would like to offer it to anyone who thinks their cats will have fun running on it

The studio will be closed for 2-3 of weeks in September due to unforeseen circumstances so any new orders & those placed during September will take around two weeks longer to fabricate.

We have a selection of coir off cuts & a couple of tubes available if anyone fancies rolling their sleeves up & making a climber for their cat.

If you are worried about soiling or the internal finish in your Hicat® getting grubby we can include twist pile inserts with your order to place over internal Shelves or in the Recessed Tops..

Our Bobcat unit has been redesigned to incorporate a neat & nifty integrated ballast chamber.

Black will soon be back again as our standard twist pile internal finish as we’ve managed to find a suitable replacement from a hopefully long term supplier.

We are pleased to say that the Polecat that was up for rehoming earlier this year went to Blue Cross volunteer Helen who is based in County Durham.

Our cat Tuco enjoys a good run on our treadmill (click here to see Tuco in action) which means his cat wheel hasn’t seen much action for a while so we have decided to donate it to a worthy cause.

Our standard Black Twist Pile internal is now no more as the manufacturer has discontinued this range.

We have a Natural Coir cut that is too narrow to be used on our products so if someone wants to roll their sleeves up & make their own DIY Polecat it’s up for grabs.
